Brother Munir Muhammad, Co-Founder of the Coalition for the Remembrance of Elijah, sat for this interview with Tony Gill in 1991. Sixteen years had passed since the departure of the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad, and the record of His name, accomplishments, and teachings was being buried under public silence, subtle omissions, and open distortion by people who had never followed him. C.R.O.E. was founded four years earlier for the purpose of answering exactly that. This interview was one of the earliest defining moments, demonstrating what C.R.O.E. was doing and why. The Messenger would be defended. Without fear.

Brother Munir Muhammad answered Tony Gill directly on who the Most Honorable Elijah Muhammad was, what He taught, and why the record had to be defended. Three years after this interview, Brother Munir launched Muhammad and Friends, which he hosted until his passing on July 9, 2019.
